CBR III Review #131: Fracture by Megan Miranda

CBR III Review #131: Fracture by Megan Miranda

This title will be released on January 17, 2012.

Delaney Maxwell was dead.  She fell into a frozen Maine lake and was underwater for 11 minutes.  No one thought she would survive but after several days in a coma she awoke. According to her MRI she suffered significant brain damage due to the lack of oxygen she received, but Delaney doesn't feel any different.....well there is one exception.  Delaney now finds herself drawn to the dying.  Delaney can't tell anyone or they will think she is crazy, except for one strange young man who seems to suffer from the same affliction.

I really enjoyed Fracture.  It doesn't bring anything new and exciting to the table of young adult fiction but it was quick fun read.  I don't really have any complaints about the novel (I know shocking!)  I recommend picking it up for Cannonball 4!
