Ashley's #CBR4 Review #2: Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder

Yelena has committed murder and for that she has been sentenced to death.  She has sat in prison for over a year and when two men come to remove her from her cell she is convinced the date of her hanging has arrived.  But instead of death she is offered a choice.  She can become the Commander's food taster.  It's a dangerous job and chances are that she will be poisoned eventually since assassination attempts on the Commander's life are not rare.  Yelena considers the option and decide it's better to live and she hopes that she will be able to find a way to escape.

Poison Study was a great fast read and you really do being enthralled with the details of how Yelena came to be in prison and he attempts to escape so she can lead a normal life again.

I would write more but I'm 35 book reviews behind :)
